It's love month and I am REALLY not feeling it.

How are you doing? Are you feeling calm? Filled with dread? Whatever it is, I believe you. It's a hard time of year.

This love letter is about looking for bright spots. I hope you find a few to savor.

Love, Carissa xo

Here are a few things we're thinking about this month.

These career planning cards come with downloadable guides. They are uplifting and actually helpful.

A bright spot this month: celebrating Black History Month. The National Museum of African American History & Culture at the Smithsonian is framing this year's celebration on the subject of Black Resistance: A Journey to Equality. They have amazing resources and actions for kids and adults, including programming that can be accessed online.

Speaking of equality for Black Americans, this poem made me cry.

Sexy socks.

We made a massage IOU (only 25 in existence).

Mabo just launched their adult line and I am super into this vest. Plus, a new preloved program

This book kept me company during the holiday break. It's a heart-rending portrait of family and love and mental illness. I found it so relatable.

Obsessed with the NYT solar system calendar.

I received a custom plant arrangement from a friend recently and it blew my mind. The Tender Gardener is so lovely and they deliver within the Bay Area!

How to expand time to be happier.

And why not being happy all the time is OK, too.

Denim obsession

I will self-soothe with these delicious CBD chocolates.

A podcast about polygamy, chosen family, and having better sex that I can't wait to listen to. Even if some of it makes me uncomfortable.
